Item received was either used previously, or just incredibly dirty for manufacture. Housing was put on crooked and almost impossible to get off. I will say the motor works, although I don't know how well it performs as I haven't tried it on an egg yet. Would return for a refund if it hadn't gotten put on a shelf and forgotten about when I ordered it. That's on me, but if you try it definitely check it as soon as you get it so you have the option.

A very interesting kitchen piece.You are to put an egg into it and it scrambles it.In practice this is a little more complicated. First you have to remove the outer shell, then lift the egg holder out of the spin shaft, then you have to pop open the egg holder, then you put in the egg into a rubber holder inside the egg holder, put everything back together and press the button, and it starts spinning one way and reverses direction about every 10 seconds.It is not clear how long you are supposed to wait, but it is supposed to stop on its own. Testing shows it is 2 minutes if left on its own. However I found that 1 minute is sufficient to scramble the egg.The hiccup occurred where you find it will only fit smaller eggs, maybe up to large or x-large, but not jumbo sized eggs.That is all I usually use, so I experienced a rather humorous event after managing to force one in anyway. I started it up, and it emitted scrambled egg all over while spinning. So the lesson there was no jumbo sized eggs.The other eggs that it successfully worked with came out great. I hard boiled them and was pleasantly surprised to see a uniform light yellow egg emerge from the cracked open egg.The main disadvantages here: Smaller eggs only, needs only 1 minute to scramble not 2 like it is automatically programmed for, so you have to stop it manually, again will not work with jumbo sized eggs, and the fact that the egg insertion and removal itself takes about minute.Overall I liked it, and it is reasonably priced.
