This Ciomszan Universal Bicycle Cable comes with almost 10 feet of cable housing (minus about 2”) and sufficient long and short brake cables with both mushroom and barrel ends for drop and straight bars, plus a bag of parts that includes housing end caps, cable end crimps, O-rings, and clips to connect two cables together when installation is done. The product page photos do a good job explaining what the parts are for, but there are no instructions included for cable replacement. The metalwork is not fine as shown in one of my photos: The barrel ends have excess metal flash that you may want to trim and file before installation if you have the tools. Also, if you are replacing cable housing that has metal end caps like I was, you may want to re-use those, as these new ones are plastic. Installation was straightforward, and everything worked as it should. I can’t speak to longevity, though the metal showing on the ends of the new housing showed signs of rust when I received the kit. That got clipped and the fresh ends were lubed, so it might not be a problem, but it’s something to keep an eye on. At least initially, I’m happy with this order, though the metal finishing should be better, and I’d be happier if the cable end caps were the same quality metal as the ones I replaced.

This set is a decent package that comes with most of things that you need to replace brake cable. However I didn't measure the length that I need for my ebike, and unfortunately this set is too short for my ebike. It could be that this 'universal' length is long enough for regular bikes, but I should have measure my bike to see what length I need. Otherwise, the cable/housing accessories all look to be decent quality.At the end what was broken on my old cable was the end caps so I just replace the end caps and re-used my old cable. At least my brakes are fully functional again. I was also missing a tail cap on my bike, so just the tail cap from this set to properly cap off the cable.

I've installed this on my kiddo's expert sized bicycle. It is being used with an old school set of odyssey pitbull brakes and brake lever. The cable housing and cable are on the thinner side but will work perfectly for his weight. The plastic cable housing is thinner then others and you can see the silhouette of inner metal housing. I don't see a problem with the thinness. The kit comes with 2 complete cables (one longer then the other) and a longer cable housing. Both can be cut to size. There are also crimpeable cable ends and brake cable housing ends. The kits is complete.
