Hummingbirds love this thing! Having no feeder previously, we got a visitor the very next day. And really beautiful to look at even if none are feeding. I’m not a fan of red personally however, I wanted to go with the tried and true choice of these zippy little birds. Easy to clean, hang and fill…ant moat a bonus. Don’t bother with store bought juice…so simply to make with 4:1 water to white sugar. Plan on buying another.

Está muy bien hecho, tanto para limpieza y facilidad de montaje para el dueño, como en comodidad y seguridad para los colibríes. Nada mas ponerlo, empezaron a beber en la percha, descansando sin tener que estar volando.... eso indica que está bien pensado, pues he tenido otros en los que no se han posado por no tener una buena distancia. Los remaches de las flores son inoxidables. Le caben bien 400 ml de agua con 100 gr de azúcar. Colocándolo a la sombra aguanta casi una semana (que es lo que tardan en bebérselo 4 días aprox.). Al desenroscar la botella de cristal , salen las dos piezas del bebedero y se limpian muy bien.Ya me han pedido las amigas el modelo para comprarlo.

It took a couple of days for the hummingbirds to trust this new, bigger feeder, but now they seem to love it! The perches at each feeding flower are a great addition--the birds can drink more when they can stay still for more than a few seconds. I wasn't sure about getting another glass feeder (the last one we had leaked), but this is thick glass and it fits tightly into the bottom, which is sturdy plastic and has a flexible gasket. That and the steel feeding area pieces are much easier to clean than any one we've had. The ant moat and hooks work great--now if I could just find one that the wasps will leave alone! I do take it inside when the wind gets high, afraid that the glass will break if it falls, but so far, it's a great value for the price.

This unit is very attractive and of decent quality. I’m thinking that the colour I chose (Blue) was not a good choice as they’re has been little interest in this feeder from the birds. They fly right by it and only occasionally stop and drink. I think a more brightly coloured one would have been better.But the feeder looks nice and the glass does. It look cheap.I’ll put up a cheap red one and see if that attracts more birds.

I’m sitting here at the front porch and watching the humming birds drink. It’s such a beautiful view! The feeder is sturdy. Easy to clean and fill. I love the red colour. It took a few days until one came but after that, it was constant. Now I can see 4 of them at the same time. The feeder came in a well sealed package with some instructions that helped me. This is my first time so that helped. My husband tied the rope around the hook (you can see in image) so that it stays in place. This way you can easily remove the feeder to clean/fill without removing the hook. Even in windy days, stays nicely in place. I find the quality of it quite good, not cheap or fake. The bottom part has a plastic seal around it so that no liquid leaks. Would recommend!!
