Plug and play on my 2004 Chevy Colorado. Fit was good. I'm giving it a 4 star rating as I have just installed and don't know the longevity. As others have said you have to use the clips that are on your existing lens. Not a big deal though.

The clips that come with it are cheap and strip with very little torque. I ended up using the old clips. Look good now.

Anyone who owns a 1st gen. colorado/canyon understands and knows how ugly and unsafe your rear taillights are.The originals on this one was well beyond it's due date, and made the car look old, tired, and unkept, along with a safety issue of the bad clearcoat/delamination of the OEM taillights which lowers the ability to see brake, turn, or reverse lights when illuminated. The first package was lost in amazon shipping, so we had to reorder another replacement that came in quickly, was packaged well, and had no damage at all.Installation was less 5 minutes, drop the tailgate, unscrew 2 philips head screws on each side on the lens, pull hard on the old lenses, twist and remove the 3 lights and reverse what you just did.The pictures speak for themselves, old to new, makes the car like new, and now you can see the illuminated lights, and for me this safety feature is well worth the price tag alone. The one issue we did have was the supplied metal screw tab catches are too big for the factory screws as shown in the picture. So you have to use your old screw tab catches and move them over to the new lenses and toss the ones that came with the new lenses in the trash. If the manufacturer would supply (4) new screws that fit metal screw tab catches, or throw a piece of paper otherwise telling buyers to reuse the oem catches, this would be perfect.

This fits perfectly and looks great. My old ones were cracked and looked almost frosted. The one issue is that the screws provided do NOT fit so you have to reuse your old ones or get some new ones.

I'm not sure if I should dock a star or not, because they fit so great and after a rainstorm last night they didn't leak, but the factory colorado screws will not work to attach these to the truck. You will need M5x0.8-16mm screws to attach these. The threaded u clips are not wood screw style threads like the factory screws are. Make sure you get some prior to installing these.
