I did a faux brick wall a few years ago using Home Depot MDF panels. They have been out of stock and I searched for hours to find another product because I needed to do another faux brick wall in a new space.Finding the right color was very hard, these have a really nice variation of colors. I thought because they were plastic they would look very fake but they actually look better than the panels I used for the last project! They are extremely easy to cut with scissors and we used 24 panels to do a 7 ft x 8 ft wall.We attach them using construction adhesive. We waited for them to dry overnight and then the next day I piped in white spackle to make it look like white grout. I actually used a grouting tool to work the spackle into the grooves and spread it around to create the effect you see in the picture. I did a test spot on one to see how the spackle would hold up because I didn't think it would stick. It sticks perfectly! It is a pretty tedious project but so worth the outcome! I highly recommend these panels if you are looking to do a brick wall. They look really nice even without putting spackle in the grooves as you can see in the other picture.

WOW - These PVC faux-brick panels look amazing!I used 2-way carpet tape and foam tape to attach to my drywall. This method worked at first but I found the tapes not holding 100% a day or two later.Of all the tape brands I used, "APT Double Sided Carpet Tape" worked the best but, again, not 100%.I'm going to try to clean the surfaces that don't seem to be sticking well with rubbing alcohol and re-tape them.Post Script - I was able to successfully use silicone, epoxy, contact cement and PL Construction Adhesive to fasten the panels to drywall. These adhesives worked way better than 2-ways tapes. Note: PL was the fastest to grab and hold.

We've been looking around for a while for a good alternative to exposed brick, since we weren't looking to pay crazy high rent for just a little more Brooklyn charm. This is such a great alternative! The pieces are fairly easy to work with; the panels are pretty easy to cut the box cutter and the texture is probably the most realistic you'll find at this price point. I've included pictures to show the raised, gritty texture; it definitely makes the brick feel more real. Both pictures show direct, angled natural sunlight and indoor light. It looks convincing under both sources of light. To do our entire living room wall was less than 300 bucks, which is totally fair if you're looking to completely transform your place. The only downside is the adhesion. The panels don't come with any adhesive backing, so you'll need to get double-sided mounting tape to keep them up and attached. Other than that, great buy!
