DO NOT BUY THIS PLEASE! I was not able to properly connect the sensor because the thread was at the top instead of the side so my sensor was hitting the top. THIS PRODUCT ALSO DOES NOT TURN OFF ENGINE LIGHT. You are better off spending the extra money on an oem part that will actually work.

When I ordered this item for a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country 3.8 liter (I believe, van is now gone but at time I had everything written down). I specifically checked the "Direct Fit" option. I found this one and a bunch of others. This one has the green box that said something to the effect of "This item is a direct fit for your vehicle" (I'm writing this review several months after the fact so my memory of exact wording may not be 100%). So, because it was supposedly a direct fit and VERY cheap for a catalytic converter, I ordered it. A couple weeks later my mechanic had the van up in the air and the rusted catalytic converter off the van. He called me into the bay and said it's the wrong one. We looked at the box it came in and EVEN ON THE BOX it said it was for a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country. Look at the photo VERY CAREFULLY and you'll see that the outlet pipe that attached to the rest of the exhaust is at a roughly 45⁰ angle, where the ACTUAL direct fit would've had that outlet pipe come out the back of the converter and IMMEDIATELY turn to a 90⁰ angle. It was all correct except for that outlet pipe and there was absolutely no possible way to make it fit properly into the rest of the exhaust. Also, even though the mechanic COULD'VE put this catalytic converter on the van, the outlet pipe would hit the spare tire (which, as you know, is directly between the two front seats under the van...IDIOTS). So, he and I boxed it up for return and he ended up having an extra bendy thing of steel mesh so he cut the rusted/failed one off the old converter and ended up welding it to the old catalytic converter (FLEX PIPE, LOL, I couldn't think of the name!!) and hanging the old one back up to the engine with the new flex pipe part welded to the converter and reconnected the exhaust. I wrote this long post to hopefully prevent anybody else from going through what we did by ordering this for the 2010 Chrysler Town and Country. Everything about this converter was correct with the sole exception being the outlet pipe from the converter. Looking at the picture you can see how the pipe looks like it ur es to the top left, correct? That's WRONG. The direct fit one will look exactly the same but instead of that "curve" it should be, LITERALLY, a 90⁰ angle to tbe left IMMEDIATELY as it comes out of the converter. That's the reason neither of us noticed it until the old one was off and the new one was put in its place, revealing the fact that the pipe hits the spare tire and there's no possible way to mate it up to the rest of the exhaust. I really hope this makes/made sense and that it helps someone else to not make the same mistake. The wonderful thing was that, while it did take quite a bit of time, the return/refund process went very smoothly. Note: After getting home from the mechanic that day I went online and looked up the part I ordered again. THAT TIME it had a RED BOX stating that this part DOES NOT fit my vehicle!! I found that very interesting. I just wonder how many other people ran into the same issue! I'm only giving this product 1 star because it was NOT a direct fit as it ORIGINALLY said it was. The 1 star is not because of quality, just didn't fit.

Converter mounts to the manifold ok. The pipe connections to exhaust is wrong. Pipe coming off converter is 2 1/8 pipe on the van is 2 1/2.

I Haven't installed it yet .. will soon .. it had an issue, so that is why it hasn't been installed yet! .The O2 sensor port, the threads were not well! ..🥴The threaded plug that was supposed to be in the port, was in the bag with the manifold Gasket, Bolts, and clamp instead of in the port as showed in sellers pic. .. And I discovered the reason why when I tried to hand thread it into the O2 port before installing it on the vehicle!!? ..🤔🥴.. So I had already replaced the O2 sensors ..in hopes of correcting the check engine light coming on issue .. So I had the old ones and used one of those to thread into the New Cat's 02 port ..and corrected it for the most part I think!? ..🤔..We shall see when it is totally installed!? . 🤔.The price was right at $70.00, and free shipping, so thought I would give it a try for that amount! ..👍I'm only giving them a 3 out of five so far for that reason which is generous I believe.. 🤔👍Because if the O2 sensor does Not seal, ..and leaks even a little engine exhaust ..it could cause an issue down the road! ..🤔👍Still not totally sure this will fix the problem, but atleast try to eliminate one more thing, and chalk it up to preventive maintenance!? ..🤔👍..The dealer wanted $4800.00 to fix it.. $4500.00 of that was for the factory .."cat". ..Catalytic Converter! ..😲🤑.. Gag a Magot!!! ..🤮.. I was born at night, but it wasn't last night!..🤔. WT Heck??..😲🥴Hopefully the threads on the O2 port will hold up well enough to see if this will fix the issue with the Check Engine light!? ..🤔🙏👍..
