After owning my Dell XPS 9550 for many years the speakers got much much worse. After taking them out I realized that there was iron filings stuck on the speaker cone attracted to the speaker magnet. This and possibly other things broke the speaker.Replacing the speaker was easy. This part had excellent fit and seems very similar to the OEM part. I could not tell a difference. The sound quality is good. Seems about what the original quality was when new, but hard for me to remember for sure.You will need to have a tiny screwdriver kit to do this replacement. In my experience, the 9550's battery also blows up and pushes against the bottom of the track pad, preventing it from clicking. If you have that issue, replace the battery too while you are in there. Also trivial fix.

These speakers fit and work correctly in my Dell XPS 15 7590. Installation is straightforward. The sound matches the original speakers, which have always disappointed me. But that is a Dell design issue.

Perfect fit for my OEM Dell XPS 7590 speakers. The original ones were “crackly” sounding. The replacements sound clear. Installation is fairly easy but be careful. Make sure you have educated yourself if you’re an amateur techie. You will need star screw drivers. Good videos on YouTube.

I blew the original speakers in my 1 year old XPS. I run ubuntu and enabled over-amplification so that was my fault. These are a good replacement and installed in about 20 minutes. Oh, and I've disabled over-amplification.
