This is a very nice looking perk pot and the price was very good for the quality. I bought this after my inherited farberware pot died and am very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this as a solid purchase.

Makes great coffee. Piping hot - you’ll need to give it a bit to cool down if you take it black, but terrific if you add milk. The size and shape make it easy to pack along on a trip. Easy to use with #2 cone-style filters — easier cleanup — but the permanent filter works, too. Good purchase.

The 12-cup electric percolator started performing fine but went downhill rather quickly. It started to have coffee grinds in the coffee whenever you brewed it so I bought a reusable fine filter you could put into its basket to brew coffee. I still had the same grind problem. I tried less coffee and again there were grinds in the brewed coffee. Then the perk knob blew off one day while percolating, it is only plastic, and coffee and water went all over the place. I replaced the perk knob with a glass one and no more problems there. Also after replacing the perk knob, there were no more grinds in the coffee when brewing it. Now after less than 1 year of usage, 11 1/2 months, it has stopped warming for the full 2 hours as stated in the user manual, brewing takes twice as long, and the coffee is weaker in taste. I have attempted to contact the manufacturer with no reply from them. Hopefully, they read this and reply to me. The coffee pot has a nice design to it, now you must decide if you want an electric percolator that works well. Do you?

Easy to set up. I filled to the max water line (12) cup line inside pot. I placed the metal tube into its slot on bottom inside of pot. I put ground coffee into metal filter (I used 3 tablespoons), then I placed the filter lid onto the filter. I gently slid the filter down the metal tube through the center hole on filter. Then I placed the coffee pot lid on top of that and gently pressed down til it snapped in place.I set the coffee pot onto its base, then I plugged the base in. I tapped the power button on the coffee pot on. Wahla! Red light came on. The JOY was watching the coffee brew through the glass steeple on the lid! Within 8 minutes, a the red light turned to a lovely blue light, letting me know my wonderful delicious perked coffee was ready! Yay! The pot lifts off base easily to pour a cup, and sets right back on to keep it nice and warm for 2 hours. Then it shuts of automatically. It worked better than I expected. Love the base plug idea… no cords on the pot made me feel safer.

I make a minimum of 1-2 pots a day. I love coffee and this thing really adds to the flavor. It is too bad that the lid is not under warranty. The perc bubble in the middle of the lid has a washer on top and the perc bubble screws into a square nut on the inside. After 6 months it will all let go. Rather than spend the 21 bucks the company wanted for the lid I super glued it all together but after 3 months it fell apart and I am buying the 21 dollar lid. So buy the pot . You will love it. It is fast and adds flavor but BUY A SPARE LID! Also before the 1 year warranty is up it will not keep the coffee hot for more than 20 minutes or so. Warranty department says this is normal but for almost a year it would keep the whole pot hot for 2 hours. So between the lid issue and this you can just figure there is no warranty! Bought another lid for 20 bucks and it lasted a few months. I am going to buy a different brand of percolator. Again THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON THIS ITEM!!!

Hay mejores, pero por el precio ya sabes bien lo que vas a recibir.
