I adore it! I bought it for my son, and he loves it so much. He falls asleep so fast with it every night.

Placed brand new batteries in it for my blind and deaf dog, but would not turn on. She began using it in her bed as a comfort option so didn’t return it. I would not recommend it at this point for an option of a heartbeat and vibration. I would recommend only as a stuffed animal

We ordered one of these and couldn’t get it to work. We had them send a replacement and the second one didn’t work either. We tried several batteries and still nothing! I can’t imagine it would last long even if it did work.

i ordered this 'emoin penguin' not really sure what exactly to expect. i am pleased with the purchase, overall. this penguin is soft and cuddly, but it does have a hard plastic piece inside (the part that makes it breathe) but it doesn't hinder you from hugging or snuggling with the penguin. the fur is soft and was not matted in any areas. beware that batteries are not included with this stuffed animal, and you will need 3 aaa batteries in order for this animal to work. the instructions aren't the best and are in pretty poor translated english, but after putting in batteries, you press the penguins foot in order for it to turn on. the belly lights up (it's a sort of bright soft yellow light) and music - lullaby style - starts playing. the best part of this penguin is the 'breathing' feature, where the chest slowly rises and falls, as if it's breathing for real. it's an automatic shut off, or you can turn it off yourself by simply pressing the foot again. overall, it was exactly as advertised and did everything that it claimed to, hence the 5 stars. upon writing this review, this penguin was priced at around $32.99, which is a decent value, albeit a tad bit expensive.NOTE: as a privileged member of the vine community, my job is to give unbiased reviews on products. i am required to report the 'retail value' of each and every product i review as income on a 1099 tax form. therefore, i am under NO obligation to rate products higher for any incentive. i am unbiased in my reviews and rate products accordingly. hopefully my reviews will help potential buyers.
