Both the speaker covers had a crack on arrival. Normally i would return it but it's up on the wall and not visible so I didn't care. Product seems cheap and might break just FYI for others

We had our house pressure washed (won’t do that again) and the speaker covers got wet. Over time they rusted, we removed them sanded and repainted them. The rust kept through again. Replacing them with the same brand was going to be a few hundred dollars. So, ordered these not really thinking they would fit or be of good quality. They are metal with a plastic rim that screws into the ceiling. They are a perfect fit and were 1/10th the price of the brand name. Bought another set just so we would have a spare. This is a great product.

I did a basement theater room renovation and adding soffits with pots lights and decided to move my existing dolby atmos in ceiling speaks back a couple feet to align better and right above where we sit. What was I to do with the old cut out ceiling holes? Well these speaker grills did the trick. I cut new round drywall patches, spray painted them black, then secured the patches in the ceiling with wooden blocks behind. Then I fastened these speaker covers right over top. The dark shadowing in behind the back of the dummy speaker covers just looks as though I have 2 extra working speakers. The circled speak cover on the right is the dummy cover, the working atmos speakers are on the left.
