If you expect water to bead off the jacket, it wont but absorb the water. First rain and it barely kept me dry. Dont bother washing it, the inner plastic membrane is peels off. You can only use it for very light rain. For the money invest is something that actually makes the water bead.

Purchased in the neon safety yellow, you can't hide in this jacket. I live in the NW where it knows how to rain and rain hard. I will trust this jacket to keep me safe and dry in the woods. My go too rain jacket over many that I own. Really comfortable with great features. Super Value!

Everything the manufacturer says about this jacket is true. It is a great deal, particularly for the price. The size is maybe a little on the full side. I ordered a medium, which is what I normally wear, but in my case a size small would probably have been more appropriate. On the other hand, the extra room could come in handy for layering during cold weather. Note that there is no lining if that is important to you.

I shrunk my old frogg togg jacket in the laundry so I wanted to replace it. This jacket was a little more than what I was expecting and I was pleased. However, I wanted a larger size and there was only one color that was big enough (3 XL) so I got it. However it is a bit tight around the waistband and you have to hike it up to get the zipper to start then pull it back down. Otherwise it fits good. Maybe if there were a 4 XL available then it might be big enough for extra layers.
