Got these for my cousin who loves to play in the dirt and help his dad with the plants. Good quality handles and a cute little holding pouch.

The Just For Kids Garden Tools set is really cute. I bought three of these for my grandchildren's Easter baskets this year and they were a hit.The tools are very short, so pay attention to the size, depending on the age of your kids. For my 3,4 and 7 year old they were just right. They are wood and metal and made very well. Their parents were impressed with the quality of the tools and I think they will last them a long time. They are using them for gardening as well as in their sandboxes and the beach. The bag was somewhat smaller than I expected, but yet big enough to put your garden gloves and a few other items inside. I just loved it with its side pockets for the tools so I got the whole set together, even though I believe the tools can be bought separately. It served as their Easter Basket, so it was worth it. The tote is pre-washed, so it is a bit wrinkled up and washed looking, if that is something that bothers you. I would purchase this item again.

This gift was perfect for my 2yo daughter. We've been working in our unfinished backyard and she loves to be out there along with us raking and digging. The bag is constantly swinging from her arm and filled with dirt, rocks and weeds. The bag is sturdy canvas material and the tools are legit. There's no wobble to them at all, they seem as sturdy as any of my hand trowels. None of the paint has chipped off either and she uses them in rocks/gravel. Since the shovels are the favorite I'm glad there are 2 for when we have a friend over.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I feel like it needs gloves to be a complete set. We pulled out a pair of knit snow gloves that we don't care about, but not everyone has those lying around. Somehow kids always notice and want the accessories.Overall this is a great buy. Well worth the money, not like those plastic sand toys you'd find at your local store.

The quality of this set is amazing, and that's before even taking the low price into account! The real wood and real metal make the tools durable and a great tactile experience for children, and the size is absolutely perfect for their tiny hands. My 2-year-old son has always enjoyed helping me in the garden, so he was beyond excited to receive these tools! He loves to play in the dirt next to me with tools that look just like Mommy's (but are not sharp enough to cause injury), and he even brought them with him to daycare when they were planting their own garden there! The tote is also of good quality and just the right size, and the non-gender-specific colors are really nice, too. I cannot recommend this set highly enough if you have a budding gardener!

UPDATE (11/3/15): My kids can't get enough of these garden tools. They use their tools to dig up weeds, rake leaves into small piles and dig into the dirt. I even find myself borrowing the shovel to plant seeds. This set is well-made, super cute and fun. Highly recommended! Disclaimer: I received this item for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.UPDATE (7/23/15): My kids (6 and 4), were happy to have a new set of gardening tools. They love to help/play while my husband and I work in the yard. I compared the new set with the old set, and they appeared to be the same. I did not notice any changes made to the product. The kids played with the gardening tools for several hours on the first day, and have since played with them a few more times. I am happy to report that after a week, nothing has fallen apart like the first set we received. Note: I received this item for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.ORIGINAL REVIEW (5/10/14) This is such a cute gardening set, and my kids (5 and 3), were so excited when we opened the box. Unfortunately, the handle came off of the shovel within hours on the first day. I tried to hammer the handle back in, but it just keeps falling out. The kids don't play with the shovel anymore, but continue to play with the rake and trowel.
