Took a bit of time trying to fit the rubber in-between the plastic ring but it fits perfectly.

The most recent version of the basic Xbox headset improved the wire that goes from the base to the headset. For me this means it lasted so long that the very thin foam on the earpiece wore out.This replacement pad is a huge upgrade to the foam it came with. It’s more comfortable on the ear. It also helps focus the sound. I’d recommend this as an upgrade even if your existing foam is good.It’s a little tricky to get it on the headset, it might seem too small at first but it does fit. Once it’s on it won’t fall off.

Original foam earpad had disintegrated, needed a replacement that will hopefully last a good while. Well there's 2 in the pack and cheaper than cost of a new headset although not by much so could maybe be slightly cheaper.But overall I'm pleased with them, comfortable as very padded, fitting was a little fiddly at first and initially I thought they were to small but once you get it started in the little gap it then goes on easily and results in really good fit, it won't be dropping off.

My factory foam pads started degrading with age despite not getting used all that much, and these were the first thing I found to replace the factory pads. They fit great, they're easy to install, they're comfortable, and I doubt they're going to turn to dust like the factory ones.
