Overall, it looks great. It has a soft- close lid so no banging and keeps the dog out. I love the way the bag holder is designed. Wrap the edges around two hinged bars then lay them against the lid frame for a snug fit. I use standard 33 gallon trash bags and they work great. I chose this one with a foot pedal over the motion-sensor due to durability. I am not a bit sorry. I highly recommend!

UPDATE: I’ve had this for 7 months now and it’s still in perfect condition. Trash diving is a thing of the past. Buy it!I’ve had this can for a month now. For reference, I own a 120lb Cane Corso, a 95Lb German Shepherd, and a 100lb+ Great Dane puppy. With our old 13-gallon plastic trash can, our Cane Corso was able to easily nudge off the lid and create absolute CHAOS whenever we left home. I spent hours searching for a bigger trash can that looked good but also would keep him out of the trash, and let me tell you.. this one is PERFECT! Not only are the dogs unable to nudge off the whole top part(it’s “locked” in place and has to be manually unhinged with both hands to open), but the lid sits in a groove so that you have to use the foot pedal to open it. You’d have to have a Great Dane or Irish Wolfhound that is A) tall enough to reach inside and B) smart enough to press and hold the foot pedal while getting trash out. My trash-eater is neither of those things, so this can is perfect for us.The second thing that I was worried about is the dogs caving this thing in with their massive whip-like tails, and I’m SO surprised that they have whipped it several times now with no dings or dents! This can is light and easy for me (a 100lb woman) to lift and move with no trash in it, and I can at least nudge it around even when it’s full of heavy trash.Last thing to note: it looks so nice in our kitchen!! The in-laws were visiting when it first arrived and said they thought I paid way more than $65 (on sale). I would’ve paid $90 no question. The bag tucks in on the inside, so it looks so much sleeker than our old can with the ugly bag hanging out several inches. We use Hefty Extra Strong 33 gallon bags, and they fit very well with a little extra space to close easily around the trash when it’s time to take it out.TLDR: Dogs can’t get in it, not easily dented, looks great without taking up space, worth the cash. GET IT!! You’ll thank me later :)

Muy bonito y grande! Me llega a la altura de las piernas y es bastante amplio! Con niños chiquitos es apenas lo que necesitaba para no cambiar de bolsa a cada rato. Las bolsas son super fáciles de poner y quitar y el cesto no ha guardado malos olores para nada. Mis bolsas no cupieron en la parte de atrás así que no lo uso pero no me molesta eso. El bote es de muy buena calidad y se ve muy bonito.Me encanta!

Tengo 1 mes que lo uso, ha cumplido las expectativas, tiene muy buena capacidad y no deja salir malos olores. Es fácil sacar la bolsa cuando ya está llena. Fácil de poner una bolsa nueva que recomiendo que al menos sea tamaño Jumbo de 147 Lts. para que pueda ser sujetada con las asas que tiene el Cesto.El receptáculo que tiene el cesto de basura en la parte de atrás tiene acceso por arriba y por ambos costados lo que hace muy cómodo sacar nuevas bolsas y al menos le caben 12 bolsas.El cesto tiene un perfil apropiado que hace que no ocupe mucho espacio y da la impresión de que no le cabe mucha basura pero en realidad tiene una gran capacidad. Mis invitados siempre me hacen buenos comentarios sobre este accesorio para la casa.

Perfect bin, much bigger than I thought taking 50 Gal liners. I doubt it has any serious competition. Its well made and looks great in the kitchen and the lid closes slowly.
