I think these jeans are great. There's a little stretch in the waist. I wasn't expecting that and like it a lot. My size is d normally a 20 plus. I have had numerous times where it is too tight, so I went up one size. I ordered the 22 plus. It actually was a little to big but not horrible. I decided to keep it and ordted a 20 plus just now. Can't wait til tomorrow to see how that one fits. So if you weigh around 220 and height of 5'4" a 20 plus would work for you.Definitely true to size

I LOVE these GV Amanda jeans. I tried the first in 18W, as I like a very comfortable fit, but they really stretched, a lot within an hour of wearing, so I bought another in 16W. I am so happy I took the chance for the smaller size as I could barely keep the 18W up by the end of the day, even with a belt. The Amanda jeans are high quality fabric and sewing, and very soft, stretchy and forgiving as they mold to your body and loosen through the day. (I sit a lot on my job so I need sitting comfort and standing movement while yet neat looking). They actually are more amply cut in the thigh and calf than most who call themselves "relaxed" fit (though I could use even a bit more room as I prefer mine very loose...but then it looks baggy standing). My hour glass has shifted with sand towards the middle as I am now a matronly grandma, but these jeans look nice and trim on me. For those who like reference, I am 5ft 6in, 195-200, with measurements 44/39/44. They are even long enough for my long legs. What's the best news, I bought 3 more 16W in several colors (Frisco and Calisto), and the consistency of sizing and sewing was EXCELLENT unlike so many manufacturers where a size can vary greatly between clothing samples. ALL FOUR arrived and fit perfectly the same out of the packaging. Highly recommend to any mature woman who wants a trim looking jean that offers movement and comfort too.

I have shyed away from this brand before thinking it’s too “old lady” well I don’t know what I was thinking! I followed the fit guide and honestly could have sized down at least one size but for the price Amazon has, I am ok getting the true size and feeling some more room in my jeans. I used to wear skin tight jeans but the older I get, the more I appreciate the relaxed straight fit jeans. These look very flattering. I have a very big butt and thighs so fitting into jeans is usually a struggle, but not with these! Jeans are thick but soft and stretchy. Nice zipper, I like the waist height and where it sits to prevent the muffin top. I am converted to Gloria Vanderbilt jeans from now on!

My old faithful Gloria Jeans! Have had many pairs over the years. The style and comfort that fits predictably. I do find that with the extra give of the fabric I was able to go one size down without a problem. This was suggested by Amazon and their input was appreciated and based on my past purchases. They wash well with no issues of shrinkage. The colour of the material was darker than the shown photo ( Callisto) which was a a little disappointing but the overall the fit and length was what I wanted. I have never had issue with this brand and several of these jeans have lasted me many, many years of wear and to this day are still are the jeans I won’t throw away!Natasha
