I bought this for my 14 year old grandson who loves to cook on a blackstone. He acts like a chef in the Japanese steak house. He brings this grandma so much joy and this chef hat just adds to that joy. It was reasonably priced and came fast. Joy for a Grandmother Priceless!

This is inexpensive, well-constructed, and practical. I have not washed it yet, but the construction and material appear to be robust enough to survive laundering. I am concerned, however, that the washing instructions are to use "cold water" and not to use bleach. My approach is to wash whites in hot water with bleach, and I don't do any special load of whites in cold water without bleach, so this might not work out in the long run for me, personally.Also, I like the velcro size adjustment feature, and it enables the hat to fit just right for a wide array of head sizes. That's great. I'm not terribly psyched about the (I guess necessary) gap in the hat where the velcro size-adjustment is. As you can see from the photo, this gap is nicely reinforced.I may be up-scoring this to five stars when I see how it survives a wash.

The size is adjustable and it stands up straight so that’s all I care about lol
