Great lunch plates. They do take on cut marks over time of course but well worth the money.

In the 1980s you could buy a frozen dinner called Le Menu. The dinners came on sturdy bakelite plates, and people saved the plates for everyday use. They're very useful for snacks or small meals. People even pass their Le Menu plates along to their children or sell them on eBay. I still have my Le Menu plates, and use them almost daily 40 years later.These Grow Forward Plates are very similar in size (8" plates), sturdiness, and even color to those Le Menu plates. They're made of wheat straw plastic instead of bakelite, and they are a bit deeper than the Le Menu plates, but otherwise very similar. Like the Le Menu plates, they're microwave and dishwasher safe. Highly recommended.
