Has a nice feel in your hand. isn't overly heavy. I prefer the flowered cup of course while my nephew leans toward the cup with lines (less girly). The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is that it is limited to green, white, and iced tea use since the steep temperatures of my favorite black teas would make the cup to hot to hold sans handle. Typical of Japanese yunomi so I knew what I was getting. The texture of the cup does feel pleasant to touch/hold-- smooth but not slippery due to the matte feel of the material. My nephew has an affinity for all things Asia. :)

I use them for homemade matcha lattes. It gives a bit more of the japanese atmosphere.

These cups look amazing. They are perfect for green teas brewed at a cooler temp. Not too hot to hold yet helps retain heat for the full serving. And they are so beautiful (worth repeating). I bought these for a gift and also received a different design as a present. My family is very happy with these purchases.

Got it for my sister as a birthday gift and she loves it. They compliment her new kotatsu table
