Exactly as described! The packaging for this item was better than any other brands in few ever seen! With this type of tape, it's important that the rolls edges don't get smashed or pinched because then it's a royal pain in the arse to apply to metal R panel sheeting(or whatever you're a applying it to). Thanks to the wonderful packing job it took me a quarter of the time it usually takes to metal sheet a building!!

Because RV windows use cheap foam gaskets to seal them and they all leak around them. We took each window out and replaced the foam gasket with butyl tape, this works great. Because the butyl tape is only 1/8” thick, we doubled the butyl tape , most of the edges squeezed some butyl tape out. It works great. Remember the holes are cut bigger than the windows, so you have to shim the bottom to cover evenly over the window holes. The windows came out easily, the hardest part is taking down the curtains and removing old caulking. You do have to put the butyl tape in the freezer for at least 30 minutes or overnight. It won’t peel off the paper if you don’t freeze it. One roll of butyl tape lasted for one bigger rv window, if you double the butyl tape gasket. Great product and saves your rv windows from leaking. The rv factory should use butyl tape and not the cheap foam gaskets. I used the black color butyl tape, it matches my rv windows and won’t show the dirt.
