These plates are extremely lightweight, thought they'd be more sturdy.

these 7” melamine plates are perfect for our 2,4 and 5 yo grandkids who comes and visits us once in awhile. we wanted them to use actual plates silverware instead of disposable plates and plastic utensils for them to get use to. these plates are unbreakable making a lot safer for our precious ones. 7” plates are manageable for them. they are versatile to use from main lunch or dinner to desserts or fruit plate and snack plate. when our grandkids see grandma setting these plates on the table, they know they are in for treat! grandkids’ approved

I bought 12 of these for my 2 new puppies and 2 new kittens. I'm so happy I did that! They wash up great in the dishwasher and I have enough for meals and snacks for each day for all of them. Thank you!

When I read dessert/salad plate, I expected these to be a bit bigger based on typical sizing. I should've paid more attention to the fact that they're 7" which is more like a bread plate or large saucer. I wouldn't use these to serve a slice of pie or a piece of a tiered cake but it would be ok for a couple cookies or a muffin. They are very basic, plain melamine. They wash well. The price isn't unreasonable but is more in line with what I would expect for larger plates.Depending on what you're looking for, these oculd work well. I'll find uses for them but wouldn't get this size again.
