This is a bulk package of alloy cable tips for bicycle shifter and brake wire. They are used on newly installed wire. They appear to be anodized coloring. These are best installed with a special tool such as Park Tool cable wire cutter that is specially machined in theLower jaw area to crimp these onto the wire tips to prevent it from fraying or poking holes into the skin of the bicyclist.
