These are a perfect size for chai tea. I have a small mouth, and larger coffee mugs tend to spill when I drink from them. With these, I mix my chai tea, heat the cup in the microwave, and have a perfect drink that doesn’t spill when I sip it.

I've been using these mugs on and off for several months now and so far, I'm happy with my purchase. My only real gripe with them is that they are not thick enough to prevent you from getting burned should you grab the cup itself instead of the handle. I understand that's why the handle is there, but I've used other mugs and even with its very hot contents I can usually, even if briefly, touch the mug itself but once the hot liquid has sat in the cup for more than a few seconds it's already too hot to touch without injuring oneself.I don't see a reason to take off points (or in this case stars) because the cup/mug gets hot. Just realize what you're putting in the mug and pay attention to where you're grabbing, and you won't have any issues (the handle has never been hot for me). These 16oz mugs are worth the buy and, in case anyone is wondering, they can be cleaned in the dishwasher without issue (regardless of if placed at the top/bottom of the machine).

These mugs are just the right size for my coffee and the handle on the mug is very comfortable. I love the shape of the handle as it nice and big and so easy to hold.
