I haven’t really used these as they’re intended but I’ve enjoyed practicing with them while learning to shape and add features to the polymer clay that I’m also learning to use. I believe these will be very well worth the investment.

They were okay if you're using them for plaster carving but you can't put too much pressure when using them for carving plaster. I can only imagine that it's much better when using for soft and fresh clay compared to semi-dried plaster. Overall, it was good. Just wished they were made of stronger metal. Probably would not buy again unless you're a beginner and you're looking for affordable tools.

tools look great, but are very weak. If you get through one project without bending a tip, you’re lucky.

My class used these to carve crayon wax sculptures. It took less than 5 minutes for one of the tools to be broken, but once their expectations became more realistic, no more of them broke. Wouldn’t have any issues if just working with malleable clay.
