Would recommend wrapping it through the straps or buying an extra clip. It can become undone with just the plastic clip when kids are pulling on it (happened to us at the mall a few times but was an easy fix to just string it through the straps)

I absolutely love this harness. I've bought a few and none have worked or were as comfortable for my 2 autistic toddlers. The price is great for this product. It is seat belt material that can be adjusted to fit. I have a 2 and 3 year old and it works perfect. The handle on the back is an added bonus. My younger one can hold on to the back of my 3 yr old using that handle and makes outtings so much better. They are both elopers so this double pack harnesses have been a blessing. I also love the length of the leash part. It's super long so they have so.e freedom but I can always bring them back closer to me when needed. I give this product 5 stars!!!

Offers the quality of a real car seatbelt strap, and love the handle on the back for a kiddo that runs off.Definitely need to get if you've got an older ASD child that bolts or an eloper! Can handle the weight of an older child. I have a 7 year old and this works perfect for him.

I like a lot of things about it, including it being a 2 pack. Most of the stitching seems reinforced too. The longer leash is nice. The pouch for small items is great, and the handle holds his weight well. With that said, I really don't like that the buckle to keep it on him is in the front, in easy reach of him. (I missed that in the pictures.) Also, within 5 minutes of him putting the blue one on, we had a critical fail. He didn't pull very hard and the stitching failed on the ring for the leash. Thankfully, I had another adult with me and we were able to corner him fast, but that could have ended VERY badly. Both have been dropped off at a sewing shop. One for repair, one for reinforcement on that stitch. The shop is going to cost almost as the original purchase, but you can't put a price on a life.If I could go back, I'd try to get one with higher quality stitching that fastens in the back.

This harness was well constructed and my 5 year old liked wearing it. I had bought it to possibly use on a trip to Yellowstone because I heard that some trails could be dangerous. I ended up returning because I’m not sure how well it would work for fall protection so I’ll just hold his hand instead. I tested and it did support his weight but I feel like I would have more control by holding his hand or arm on a difficult section of trail. It would work well to keep an older child from running off and is larger and sturdier than most other harnesses I looked at. The puzzle patterned pocket on the back is sewn on and doesn’t detach. The clip that attaches the leash to the harness is plastic but seems fairly strong.
