Easy install with the magnets!Don’t like how it changes temperature (cool to warm) every time I turn it on.

3 years ago I bought a ceiling fan from Wayfair. The led light was supposed to have 50,000 hours which is equal to 15 years. The led light in it died. Upon reading the manual it said the part was not replaceable. I want to express my sincere gratitude to your company, this retrofit is perfect and works with my light, you have saved me from having to completely purchase a whole new ceiling fan. The light even switches tones of white. It’s just perfect! Please don’t stop making this! Install was super easy!

I bought this to replace a smaller 3.93" light that wasn't bright and had a color temp. of about 2700k which made it even worse. This product had the specs of a 5 star product, but it just didn't deliver, here are the pros and cons:Pros:*Mounting magnets were fairly powerful, better than I expected.*A spring loaded splice device is included, so if you can cut and strip a wire you can install this modification.*The color temperature selectability is great and is easy to use.Cons:*I ordered a 22 watt light. I received an 18 watt light (I am honestly not sure they even have a 22 watt version, probably just charge an extra buck and figure no one will check). I measured ~150mA at the middle temperature setting and ~140mA at the other two settings. Voltage in my home is a little low at 115, which translates to approximately 17 and 16 watts respectively.*The included M3x5 screws are too short to get through the light housing and thread into the magnets. How they got this wrong is mind boggling. I used M3x8 screws which worked well.*The wiring in my fan (and most fans) uses large connectors and wiring with thick protective sleeves which is meant to be held back behind the light with screws. Although the magnets were powerful, they couldn't quite do this on their own, so I had to use some cable ties to get the cables to press downward with less force on the light. Not a big deal but slightly larger magnets would be great.Anyway what is sad is how little effort it would have taken to make this a 5 or a 6 star product. Four stars if the screws were long enough, 5 stars if the light was as powerful as advertised, 6 stars if it was twice that bright.
