I have an indoor fountain that's leaking, and I got this to try and seal the problem. If it doesn't, I won't blame the product (reason why below).I liked the idea that I could color of the mixture as I thought I could match the tan color of the coating in the fountain. The pack comes with 4 colors, red, blue, and orange-brown, and a black. Due to my own ineptness (!!) the color was nowhere near the tan color of the existing coating! But I have some other paint to cover the awful green color I made!! LOL.I was hoping the 2 parts may be clear (like many epoxy products), and I wouldn't need to color it. Alas, both parts are white. I would have liked the colors to be different as this guaranteed that both parts were fully mixed (the instructions DO say 1-2 minutes of mixing is required).Mixing wasn't hard, and I added color at the start so once it was fully mixed in, I knew the 2-part epoxy would be completely mixed. The consistency is a bit like white wood glue, though slightly thicker, but easy to work with. Everything was included in the pack (sandpaper, iceblock sticks, etc) except the toothpicks they recommend for adding color. A well-thought-out pack.The instructions say the mixture remains workable for about 30 minutes. I didn't time it, but there was certainly plenty of time for me to do what I needed (maybe 10 minutes of work). I went out to the bin about 90 minutes later, and the leftover mixture was very solid, however, it does say to wait 24 hours before doing anything.

I used this to repair a gouge in a baby blue fiberglass bath fixture. The actual patch went very well, however even after watching the product video and being overly cautious, just a toothpick tip of the blue dye gave me an almost Navy blue! I had to mix a second batch and got a lighter blue, but not a match. If it is critical for you, just be prepared for several attempts. Beware, you get enough resin for about one quarter cup of mixed gel coat.

It comes with white resin and a 1:1 hardner along with 4 different color dyes for color matching the repair.This kit includes some fiberglass cloth, which is atypical, sand paper, plastic spreader, wooden mixing sticks and toothpicks.The completeness was nice. With 1:1 (resin:hardner ratio), you can layout two equal length lines/segments on a piece of old cardboard and then fold into each other until mixed along with any drops of dye you might want. Thus, this kit does not need any mixing cups.

This is an ALL-IN-ONE fiberglass patch/repair kit. You get a two part solution that you mix together, as well as multiple different colors so that you can match to what you are patching pretty closely. It sets hard and adheres VERY WELL. Great for cracks or holes in hulls or exposed areas, since it dries COMPLETELY waterproof and shatter resistant. Can even be shaped when cured. Sanding and spreading accessories are included as well. Should be carried on every small water-borne vessel, but great to have at the house for small repairs, particularly anything exposed to the elements. Great kit...
