I'm a salt water kayak fisherman and woodsman. This pack so far has held up very well against fairly rugged use. After salt water exposure rinse with fresh water because salt destroys everything. Usual Marine maintenance required. Lots of space and love the molly webbing on front of pack. No leaks from the inflatable internal frame and padding design. Also fairly comfortable. This pack won't carry everything and the kitchen sink, but what you do carry will be nice a dry. Besides, the more you know the less you carry. Plus some heavy duty Gorilla tape across the bottom of this pack will go a long way.

This is probably the most comfortable rucksack I have ever used.Pros. Comfortable adjustable back system. Abundance of cinch straps for a compact load. Large top pocket. Two hydration ports.Cons. The pump bulb takes up space in one of the belt pockets. The belt pockets are too small for a mirrorless camera and negates the use of a camera belt bag. There is no hydration bladder sleeve. The niggles aside, this is a very comfortable load carrier. It is just right for short multi day trips. At 60 litres it encourages paring down of gear but there are straps at the bottom for securing a mat or tent to save space and the stretch pockets take a two water bottles each or equivalent. The front pocket is best for waterproofs and the top 'brain' pocket is cavernous. The top is floating to allow maximum packability.I would recommend.

I took a chance on this backpack, sight unseen. I am giving it 4 stars because it is winter and I haven't gone on a multi-day hike with it yet. What I can say about it is IT IS VERY LIGHT AND COMFORTABLE. My other pack is TETON FOX 5200, which is 5.5lbs, this one is 1.218KGS/2LBS 10.7OZ for all the gram counters. I was a little worried about it holding all my gear, since it is 60L vs 75L+10L of the TETON FOX 5200, but I managed to fit everything,This pack still had room at the top for more.I didn't try my 3L hydration pack in it yet, so cant review how that goes. With everything packed and the straps adjusted, I began to pump up the AIR PAD, which is kinda what makes this Klymit pack unique. The pad filled up and made this pack SO COMFORTABLE. It really hugs your back and takes most of the bounce out of the load. I really cant wait for the good weather to try it on a long hike . I like the hip pockets, something the TETON doesn't have.I was weary about the white on a pack, you know, dirt mud, ashes, soot, but it is easy to clean with water and a brush, but I guess i'll find out more when it gets heavily soiled.I recommend this pack to anyone looking for a lighter, more comfortable option.

I really like this pack. I haven't backpacked in quite a few years, so my last pack was an old external frame that weighed about twice as much as this one. and wore on my shoulders. I'm 6' 1" and about 210 pounds, so I purchased the large version. The internal frame consists of an inflatable pad, that is blown up using the bulb located inside one of the waist belt pockets. You just put on the pack and inflate the pad to the point it feels comfortable on your back. On my last trip, which was a solo trip for 7 days, I had about 35 pounds of gear, food and water. I was amazed at what a difference it would be to go from the external frame to the internal frame. This is the most comfortable pack I've ever owned. The pack is well designed, the two pockets on the waist belt are large enough for a cell phone, GPS, snacks. the two side compartments easily held two water bottles. The main compartment was large enough for food, tent, sleeping bag, cook kit, first aid kit and clothes. The pack was so well centered on my back, I had no issues with my shoulders or hips feeling strained or uncomfortable. The only issue I had, was storing my extra water in my bladder bag. It will accommodate the tube on either the right or left side of the bag, but it doesn't have a built in sleeve in the main bag to store it. That would have been much better in my opinion.I'm just getting started with ultralight backpacking, This was one of my first purchases for this type of equipment and I was extremely happy finding and purchasing this bag. Now all I need is an ultralight sleeping bag and an ultralight tent and my base system will be good to go.It won't be for a while, but I plan on using this pack to hike the Arizona trail. I highly recommend this pack to anyone in the market for a light but heavy duty pack with a load rating up to 55 pounds.

I returned the backpack. I didn't particularly like how the pack fit and didn't like the air pad
