Love the quality, sound, and performance it gave my Mustang GT. It took a minute for my airflow sensor/computer to adjust to it. It would idle very low in the 500rpms after I slow down. I even took the negative terminal off and re-adjusted it several times. It did this for at least for the first couple of days and then it self adjusted to the air flow. Gas mileage went up by 4mpg!!! 26MPG or better!!

Was very easy to put together, about the only thing that may throw some off is figuring out what hardware is used where. Take your time and it is very logical. As for the performance of the K&N, I will say the first impressions are very good! It def. kicks up the sound of the engine / exhaust a notch or two! And the response on acceleration is a noticeable improvement as well! It's almost like you can FEEL the car just breathing easier and obviously it is! It just runs smoother even at a normal cruising pace the car seems like it just got a fresh tuneup or something.For the record, I'm a sceptic by nature, so I torture myself about spending money on something like this, because it pisses me off, if I go through the hassle of putting it on and spending the cash to find out the product sucks! This was not the case here, buy the K&N if your in the market for a CAI it WORKS! Be clear here, it doesn't turn your car into a NASA rocket or any s*** like that, you gotta spend a lot more money for that status! Enjoy and hope the review helps you! 06 Mustang GT

Do these People TRY these things before they sell them? The HOSE was WAY smaller than the inlet, Radiator Screw was TO THICK to go back in,VERY VERY poor Pics and Instructions, I am STILL TRYING to find a DECENT connector for the Inlet- what a MESS-I bet it is American Made..don't buy it! NOT being MEAN but the PUBLIC HAS to be told! Let,s see if Amazon shows this!

05 Mustang GT Conv.After thinking about it for a long while , I had finally ordered the K&N intake! After finishing the install I went for a nice drive on the highway and city streets. I immediately notice a big difference in the cars response from stand still and even better response at higher RPM's. The car now has a GROWL to it when excelerating. I understand you should get some better gas mileage........but I seem to get less now as my driving is much more aggresive. If you are thinking about getting one think no more go ahead. Install was pretty straight forward.
