We just discovered these for our cast iron pans. It works wonderfully. Also works well for other pans, too. Grateful to have something that will last forever, and works!

I write reviews only when something is exceptionally good or bad. I was feeling guilty for not having taken the time to review this one. It belongs to the first category. I actually had not believed the claims they made so, gingerly, I have tried it on all surfaces that I have not even used "Commet" on and every time it has surprised me pleasantly. I have even used it on my glass-finish stove-top around the burners. NO DAMAGE to the surfaces and it has cleaned better than all other products I have used. My only concern is that it may inadvertently slip into my dishwasher. A suggestion! A loop of some durable material so one can hang it around the faucet base.

We do a lot of cooking in cast iron and carbon steel skillets. I typically clean them with hot water and a stiff, nylon brush. It sometimes takes a minute to get crust off, but works. Looking to save time and water this brand of chain mail was often recommended. I chose this particular size because it sounded like it would work on many surfaces. That proved to be correct. I did remove the tag because I felt it would scratch surfaces.I still use hot water and a brush to remove sauces from the skillets. Once that gunk is gone this chain mail cleans them up nicely without removing the seasoning. I have used it on just about everything from plastic containers and utensils, stained stainless pots, dishware and flatware; it cleans nicely without scratching. With soapy water and a little effort it does remove baked-on debris. I am looking forward to trying it on some old baking dishes.Being slippery it does take a slightly different technique to use, but is not difficult. One thing I learned is to not drop it in a sink full of hot water - fishing around for it is difficult. :DGoing forward I think a chain mail glove would suit me better and be faster, but this does work as advertised.

I wish I had known how good these chainmail scrubbers were years ago. This works perfectly on my cast iron, stainless steel, and carbons steel pans. When done cooking you simply swirl this on your pan a few times and removes all food bits easily. This also works well for cleaning my plates and glasses when removing food. No more nasty dirty moldy sponges for me.This chainmail cleans easily and will never go bad. You can even wash it in the dishwasher. I love this product and will have it for many years.

I bought this to replace regular dishcloths and sponges, even if I can't use it on plastic materials as it will scratch them. I still like it as it's easy to clean/sanitize, great for removing food stuck on glass baking pans. It is a very expensive dishcloth but at least I won't be putting sponges in the landfill as often anymore.
