This solar Yellow (with White and Black Accents) metal lantern shines a yellow light after the sun goes down illuminating the owl from within. The color is continual and does not change inside the lantern. The cutouts throw a nice pattern of dots around it.The lantern can be hung from a hook and the handle is included, or sat on a flat surface. It does not come with a stand. The only assembly is to push the on switch down on the right by the solar charging panel. The solar charging panel can get direct sun as it is directly on top.The owl is accented by metal pieces forming the owl feet, wings, and eyes. It does not take much effort to bend this metal. Overall a cute addition to our yard.

This OWL lantern is adorable. The eyes on mine aren't centered but then I don't expect perfection. It is metal and I hung it on my shepherd's hook where I hang my small flags. I spray painted the metal with clear Rustoleum to prevent rusting as it will be outdoors in rainy weather. This is solar-powered, comes on a dusk, and lights up bright enough that it can be seen. It stays on for about 8 hours before needing the sun to charge it. The online description states the following: "Each lantern is equipped with a 1 AA 600mAh rechargeable battery, allowing for up to 8 hours of illumination after a full charge", this does not take a battery and is not rechargeable as it is solar-powered. I will update my review if anything changes.
