WE have tried two of these fobs purchased within a month of each other. Took the key fob and the truck to a reputable dealer and they could not activate. I would like a refund on this one and the other one purchased in Dec. 2024. Same issues.

My first key was defective and they sent me a new one out the next day. My new one has been working great for months on my 2006 f250.

Ok this truly saved me like $125! My local hardware store but it for free and YouTube saved me when it came to programming! The websites listed didn’t work, but was easily able to find one on YouTube!

Update - October 2023It turns out that this key isn't as robust or OEM-like as I originally thought. It's more cheaply made, the case chips easily when you're trying to replace the battery or just remove the cover, the ink is already worn off the buttons, but the most annoying aspect concerns the panic button. I can't tell you how many times this has gone off simply by having the key in my pocket. This happened maybe one time with my Ford key. With this piece of junk, any kind of touch on the button sets off the alarm. Since the buttons are indistinguishable, you'll likely thumb around for a bit until you find a right one. Otherwise, make sure you memorize them. Straight up garbage.Basically, the buttons on this remote are very soft when compared to the OEM option. To try and make this remote useful, I removed the pad with the buttons and used a razor blade to shave off some of the nib that presses on to the button on PCB. I'm not sure if that'll work, but it's worth a shot.I'm fairly aggravated with all of this because Ford limits the amount of keys you could have and now I'm up to three - One fully functional OEM, one functional OEM with a broken case, and this piece of junk.I'm also going to search my options and maybe even investigate a flip key. My advice is stay away. My rating has been reduced accordingly.Original - August 2023The case on one of two keys for my 2014 Ford F-150 cracked, and I had concerns about it failing. A quick search showed that having two functional keys made life much easier, as you could program the chip and buttons on a new key by yourself. It wasn't such an easy task if you only had one working key, or at least it was much more expensive as it involved special programmers or a trip to the Ford dealer. This key is the same size as the OEM key, but it has more of a matte finish. A locksmith cut the key for $5, and I was on my way to programming it. There are numerous videos and documents that describe the process, and I had another functional key in under 5 minutes. You just have to get timing and sequencing of the actions just right.
