I have a first generation Roomba that one day simply stopped working. I made the assumption that the battery must have finally died, and ordered this to replace it, making sure that it would fit the model of my specific Roomba. Immediately upon replacing it (very simple to install), my Roomba began working like new! It is still quite powerful after several months, is clearly durable, as yet shows no signs of aging. It still recharges quickly, too! Excellent value!

Didn't know how I was going to like it at first. But it charges just like any other battery. The power lasts much longer than the old battery did. It's super easy to uninstall and reinstall. There are no jumps or any issues of functionality. And it was a good price.

At first, I was worried that the battery wasn't going to fit/work as the OEM battery was much larger than this replacement one. But since replacing it and charging it, I can now happily confirm that it works on my Roomba 677 model.

Solo me duro dos meses y medio y dejo de funcionar, es la segunda que compro y es lo que me han durado ambas, la estoy usando para un irobot 677

I rated it a 5 so it would be read but rating it only a 2. It fit and worked but I would expect a battery to last more than 16 months (warranty is 12). Error code 5 is what the Roomba indicated and according to the IRobot site, it basically says the first course of action is to verify the battery is an official IRobot battery. Guilty. Battery that failed is a lithium 4400 mAh. Considering we only use it once a week or so and our rooms are small, that's not many hours on the battery. The original battery lasted over 7 years so I was going to buy an IRobot battery this time but they only offer a NiMH battery and I wanted a lithium since they offer more watthours. IRobot doesn't offer a lithium battery for this model (655) so I reluctantly bought another Melasta lithium 5000 mAH so maybe I should rate it a 3 since I did buy another one. If this one goes kaput after 16 months then I think maybe the charging circuit on this 655 model is not really meant to charge lithium.

Easy install, but battery life and battery longevity are unknown’s as I’ve only had this battery for a couple of weeks.
