The mounting holes match my 02 Jeep GC Overland. However, like others have said, it doesn’t fit 6.5” speakers the hole size is meant for 5 1/4 “ or maybe 6” speakers. I had to do some tweaking in order to make it work. Had to cut the hole bigger and drill some holes. I also added some double-sided 3M trim tape between the speaker and spacer for cushioning. After all that it fit pretty good.

I installed into 2003 Dodge Durango and they fit with no problems. I am using the JVC CSV528 5.25 inch speakers and replace all 4 speakers 2 front doors and 2 back doors. I had no problems with holes lining up or nothing. It says these will work with 6 1/2 speakers but frankly I don't see how but without a 6 1/2/ inch speaker to test it out I can not be 100% sure but the 5.25 work great. No instruction but not hard to figure this out either. If you can not figure out the hole to use than maybe you should just let the pro do it for you. Took me about 5 mins each to mount a speaker in these and about 5 mins to take the door panels off. I did switch out the screw holding the speakers to the door since the factory setup used 3 inch ones and I only needed about a inch long with these, The factory would still work I just didn't feel like doing all that extra screwing. About 5 mins to install speaker in the door and another 5 mins to put the panel back on. so about 20 mins per door.

I used these on a 2008 Honda civic Si, they work for the front and rear speakers. As mentioned in other reviews the hole on these adapters where it is fastened to the car will need to be bored out so the screw is flush with the top of the plastic or the speakers will not fit properly. I used 6.5 inch speakers in my install so I do not know about 5.5 speakers if it would have to be done also. I used a 1/2 spade bit to bore the hole out. I don't know if this is necessary but I put foam between the adaptor and the metal it sits on because I was installing a sub and did not want to have any vibration issues. In the front door speakers I did have some more extra work that had to be done. On the door panel there is this plastic ring I had to cut off because my speakers were not an exact fit because there is a part of the metal door which I did not feel like cutting and my speakers were not exactly able to sit flush on the adapter. Be careful on the speakers one chooses because you may have issues with the depth in the front and rear of the car. All in all these were what I needed to do the job.
