I honestly didn’t expect much from a $200 pair of speakers, but the Micca MB42X G2 really surprised me—in a good way. The build is super solid with a clean, professional look that makes them feel way more premium than you’d guess from the price tag.Sound-wise, these things are shockingly good. The bass goes deeper than I expected, and the overall tuning is pretty flat (in a good way). There’s a little bump in the low end that makes music sound full and lively without muddying things up. Mids and highs come through clean, and even at louder volumes, there’s no weird distortion or harshness.There is a bit of a dip around 2-3kHz due to the woofer’s natural beaming, but honestly, for casual listening or even nearfield use, it’s not a dealbreaker at all. They’re just super enjoyable to listen to.Only real downside? They’re not super sensitive, so you’ll want to pair them with an amp that has a bit of juice. But once you’ve got that covered, you’re golden.For the price, these are hard to beat. Great for a desktop setup, bedroom system, or anyone looking to get solid sound without spending a fortune.

I wasn’t expecting much for a pair of passive bookshelf speakers under a hundred bucks, but the Micca MB42X G2 completely blew me away. The build quality is solid, the design is clean, and most importantly, the sound is shockingly good for the size and price.Balanced, clear, and surprisingly dynamic, these little speakers punch well above their weight. I thought my JBL Studio 530s were a bargain, but the Micca MB42X G2 outperforms them by a wide margin in terms of sheer value. If you're looking for an affordable, compact speaker that doesn’t skimp on sound quality, this is it.Highly recommended for budget-conscious audiophiles!

Paired with Loxijie A30...overwhelming sound with such small speakers...Good bass, they doesn't required any subwoofer with them if someone doesn'twant. Value for money.

Llegaron en tiempo, bien empacados y conectandolos a un aiyima d05 reproduciendo vía fibra óptica desde mi pc con tidal tomando el control de la situación es una excelente opción, ah también son estéticos sin el protector magnético se ven mucho mejor.

I recently received my new Micca G2 and wanted to give my impressions. I have had several sets of MB42X and the matching centers over the years. They were a very good bang for the buck speaker in a small package. The new G2 versions have refined the MB42X and it's noticeable to me. The overall fit and finish is better than the original. The G2 weigh a bit more and feel more solid. The "knock test" reveals a less hollow sound than the originals. The drivers are now closer together and the port is indeed flared out back. The line on the top is a small dado and gives a nice look to the speaker. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do and it helps distinguish them from the pervious offerings.The sound of this new version is truly a more relaxed (less bright) version of the Miccas. You really do notice the taming of the tweeter which was quite hot for a long time. While decent for HT it could be harsh for near field use. Without any EQ I noticed this new version is much easier to listen to with less fatigue. The detailing on these is good and the soundstage is decent overall, very good for a budget speaker. The bass is one place that shocked me. The overall amount of bass was impressive for the size and cost of this guy. Much like the original these sound like a larger speaker, which is a good thing. I feel these new versions go slightly lower and have a tighter bass sound. Are these RAP/EDM monsters...no, but for anything with normal bass levels they really can surprise. I particularly enjoyed these with acoustic tracks. I put on a few different tracks and this is where they came to life.What are they good for? - Whatever you want! Much like the original they bring a lot to the table. They are small, give a good overall sound and provide a decent low end at a great price. The toned down tweeter helps them in the nearfield roll for sure.Can I use these in an HT setup? - You bet! They do nicely in a HT roll. Keep in mind these aren't super sensitive but with an entry level AVR in a small/ medium room they do great. The low end allows you to cross the sub at 80 or lower which is nice for such a small speaker.Would you get these over the original? - For sure! For a $10 upcharge I would really get these new G2 versions. I did like the originals but not all people like the harsh top end. These address that and give a better fit and finish.Do these need a sub? - Depends on what music you're into. If you're into classic and acoustic then you should be good without one.

Las bocinas llegaron 2 días antes de la fecha indicada lo cual se agradece. Las bocinas se ven muy bien y las acabó de instalar en un equipo Denon x2300w como bocinas frontales izq-der .el sonido es bueno pero siento que debo dejar pasar unos días para que se adienten además de configurar mejor mi equipo. Hare una revisión en unas semanas . por el momento satisfecho con la mejoría en el audio de mi set up
