I purchased the Tree of Life, Momento Mori Coin for myself. I am a fan of the Stoics and Stoic literature. I wanted to purchase a Momento Mori Coin/medal for a while. When I saw this design, and read some reviews, I decided to go ahead and purchase it. I am glad I did. For the money, it is a great piece. The artwork is lovely and I appreciate the subtle coloring. The design is clean and clear. There are no fuzzy lines or wording. It comes in a hard plastic case that is easily opened, but if you want to carry it with you, keeping it in the case might be nice to keep it in mint condition. For those who may not be familiar, Momento Mori is a stoic saying reflecting on the impermanence of life. It roughly translates to 'You must Die.' It is a reminder to live more fully and purposefully. The Tree of Life emblem on the flip side of the medal, is a reminder to live. Those Greek and Roman Philosophers were onto something!
