It's a very nice backpack. It feels both very light and sturdy, and comes packed into its own built-in small storage bag. It has one main compartment, which is nice - I hate feeling something inside the backpack but having to go through seemingly endless nooks and crannies to figure out where it's hiding. It also has one smaller zippered compartment on the front for more readily accessible items. Then there's also a strange pocket on the front of that, which has no zipper or velcro - just a single side-release buckle strap in the middle of it. I don't know what you would put there - whatever you really don't mind losing, I guess? I would give this backpack 4.5 stars only because of this, but it's a minor thing so I'm rounding up.

This backpack is cheaply made with thin fabric that doesn’t feel durable. My son took it as a carry-on for a trip to New York, and right away, we noticed issues.- Straps fell apart immediately – The adjustment straps completely slipped out of their plastic sockets. I had to rethread them and tie a knot just to keep them in place.- Zippers constantly snagged – Opening and closing the bag was a struggle throughout the trip. For the price, this backpack is not worth it. It feels flimsy and poorly designed. Would not recommend for travel or hiking.

This 30L Lightweight Hiking Daypack has become our go-to travel companion! It's perfect for vacations, especially for hikes and beach trips, where we need to carry drinks, snacks, sunscreen, and more. What sets this backpack apart from other packable daypacks is its ventilated back. Most pouch backpacks leave your back sweaty and uncomfortable, but this one has a breathable mesh back panel and waist straps that help wick away sweat. This has made a huge difference in comfort, and we no longer fight over who has to carry the backpack. The backpack is made of durable and lightweight polyester material with smooth zippers. It has a large main compartment with plenty of room for our belongings, as well as two front pockets and two mesh side pockets for water bottles or umbrellas. The elastic cords on the front are great for securing extra items like jackets or sleeping bags. The adjustable padded shoulder straps and waist strap ensure a comfortable fit, and the sternum strap helps distribute the weight evenly. The reflective strips are a nice safety feature for nighttime use.We also appreciate that it folds up into its own pouch for easy storage when not in use. It's compact and doesn't take up much space in our luggage. This backpack is well-designed and has become an essential part of our travel gear. It's perfect for day hikes, beach trips, and any other outdoor adventures. I highly recommend it!

A light-duty daypack that would be good for day-hikes and excursions. The daypack is delivered tightly folded in its inner pocket which also functions as pouch. Very handy and compact if traveling with a larger backpack, suitcase or leaving in a vehicle ready for your next outdoor adventure. The straps are padded and seem sturdy, but very lightweight.. The elastic cords in front of the pack would be useful for clipping towels, hats, etc. This pack would be suitable for light loads only because of limitations of the shoulder straps.

We're avid hikers and nature enthusiasts always in search of the perfect backpack for our needs. There are many great aspects of this bag, especially as a quick go-to as it is so lightweight and very conveniently folds into itself (a huge perk!) so we can easily toss in the car or travel bag.I was specifically looking for a backpack with a waist belt. I have a chronic joint condition, so this is a must when carrying the weight of water bottles, even on a shorter hike. The waist belt is comfortable and highly adjustable. I am a 29" waist, my husband is quite a bit larger (36" pants, but a bit of a belly above waistband) and we both were able to use with ease. The elastic cording on the outside was perfect for tucking layers of clothing as the day warms up without needing to take up space on the inside. There are many pockets for all your hiking essentials and the bag itself is a very nice size. For reference in the photos, my husband is 6'2" with a long torso. My one big beef is the super cheap and thin water bottle pocket. As you can see in the photo, a standard size plastic bottle is already stretching it. There is No Way I could fit a wide mouth or a stainless bottle without it tearing right through the fabric. I nearly deducted 2 stars for this...however, if you think of this as the cell phone pocket and keep your water in the large pocket, it is a decent bag, especially for the price.Overall, a decent and super convenient option to keep in mind when you need an additional bag for a trip. But as a daily use hiking bag, I would definitely keep searching.
