I have a glass cake stand, and this dome fits it perfectly. Really nice looking and functional.

Way to small and not practical for a cake cover

This cover is almost the right size - to be fair, I have an antique cake dish so it isn't standard. It's about 1/2 inch too small. It works and that is important. The dome is glass but it almost feels plastic. The glass is thin but not delicate. The dome is super light weight, unlike my super heavy other cake dome. The knob on the top will not fit the flip of the cake plate so I cannot make it a mini punch bowl. I do have the other one for that though, so no biggie. It will fit on the top rack of the dishwasher without taking up too much room and the dome is not super tall, but tall enough. It does what it is supposed to so I am happy.

I ordered this to cover my antique Fostoria cake plate. It fits perfectly and is a great compliment. The cloche is of very nice quality - thick glass. It arrived safely and quickly. It is a little expensive but overall I’m very happy with this purchase.
