When I got them, they looked too small but they are perfect! Easy to install, the hardware seems to be a good quality. Firm, but not too much (you don't have to hang from the hatch to get it to close).

Should you install this on your own? No.Did I try? Yes.I got one side done and started to lose momentum because holding the gate up with my head was getting tiring. Had my girlfriend help me hold up the other side to get it done.I used the hardware that showed up for the first side and used the original hardware for the other side because I couldn't get the new one to thread through the holes.If your liftgate is dropping on you, buy this asap. It's worth the money 100 times over and mine went from dropping down to shooting up. Little bit harder to close now that it's actually got pressure, but it's not difficult by any means.Saw some people report that the seller processed free replacements in the event of an issue but we will see how they "hold up" *pun intended*Overall a great fit for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ and I am stoked to not get yelled at by my girlfriend as she got hit in the head by it falling.

Fits 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo perfectly, super powerful and installed in minutes by my mechanic easily. Well worth it - no more droopy door hinge!
