I had a rod purchased years ago that had not been used. These connectors fit the rod perfectly. The installation went without a flaw. What I really like is the smooth glide of the chain mechanism when raising & lowering the shade. The chain is shorter then others I have making it better for a kitchen window. Tops in quality & performance.

It was a perfect fit for the old blind tube. The only thing that was annoying is the chain was longer than the old one. But that is totally understandable. So I trimmed the chain and put the chain link from the old one to the new 1. You have to be careful when you trim the chain that you give enough chain so that it can go all the way up and all the way down. My blind is quite large ninety six inches long and forty two inches tall, so it is a very Heavy blind, but the unit that I purchased works perfectly. And you cannot tell how heavy it is. When you pull the chain, it runs very well. I would recommend this for anyone who's having issues with their blind clutch. But make sure you get the right diameter for your blind. I only replaced the one side that has a clutch. As the other side is just a cartridge that slides, there is no mechanics in the other side.
