The product is exactly as described and worked excellent when swapped out with the original Milwaukee battery circuit board. Recommend using a portable Kweld brand spot welder to reattach the metal terminals. Soldering does work but not as tidy as the spot welder.I found the battery test button is a touch lower than the one on the factory Milwaukee circuit board. So, when reassembled, the battery test button doesn't reach the battery test button. Swap out the buttons is what I did from Milwaukee battery board to this imitation board.

Depending on the battery, this board can go from easy to a time consuming replacement. Recommend taking your existing battery top off first and having a look.If the battery has the nickel conductors all visible, this will be relatively easy.If the battery has the nickel conductors below the plastic housing, you have to carefully cut away the plastic to get this board to fit (not using metal tools our risk shorting the cells) or in this case, the better option would be to buy the replacement case with new board and transfer the batteries from your case to a new one.The board seems to be decent quality itself.

Milwaukee makes great tools and batteries. Problem is, if the battery pack drops below the minimum voltage the BMS board is preprogrammed to lock the pack out from charging or discharging. Even when the cells are very new and the pack has been discharged and can be brought back to a usable level the BMS will not allow the pack to be used. These replacement boards resolve this issue and are fairly easy to install. TTI, the company that makes Milwaukee, RYOBI and Rigid does this on all their batteries. I believe that this is just their way of making sure they stay in the battery business. These boards are very well designed and function well with Milwaukee tools and chargers. They're a fantastic way to revive your batteries and save a great deal of money. Well worth the price!
