On the first day my cat was enjoying the rope, however, thereafter she ignored it, even after I placed it in the bag to renew the scent. Now she only becomes interested in the rope when I move it around.1. update:We both like playing with the rope. The cat gets especially interested when I make the rope "creep" under furniture or around a corner. She will also jump after it when I lift the rope up high, however, her claws sometimes accidentally reach my hand.2. update:I like seeing how she chews on the rope energetically, clawing on it with all four paws after I freshened the scent with some catnip (which I purchased seperately). The three ropes are very sturdy, I think they will last a long time.

As the parent of an overly zealous young Bengal, I am constantly on the hunt for toys in order to prevent his insatiable need to utilize his teeth and claws to create Rorschach art on my arms.Enter these lifesavers. From the moment I opened the package, I had an immediate ankle weight, and got fussed at with many a chirp and ekekekeke since apparently I cannot open packages fast enough. (Not that there was any issue with the packaging, the toys arrived in excellent condition and were ready for play immediately upon opening)When I ordered these, I expected them to be more bendable (based solely on the pictures, and please note I was intoxicated and desperate while ordering these), but they’re actually quite soft and floppy. They appear to be well stitched, and the smell of catnip hit me immediately. The Bengal immediately pounced on the first toy thrown on the floor, and proceeded to kick and kick and kick and bite and honestly display more violence than I was anticipating, and I’m delighted. The gremlin spent a good half hour ensuring that the toy was properly “dead” and then proceeded to curl up in bed with the toy and did not move for the next hour. Pictured above, blissfully jamming out to Bob Marley, stoned out of his kitty mind.Since the initial pounce, all three toys have received heavy playtime, with no signs of coming apart (always my fear with rope toys). So far little Mr. Destructive has been vanquished. Either that or his drug problem is only mildly sated. For the value for money, durability, and kitty approval factors, I’m happy to say these rope toys will be in the permanent rotation moving forward.
