First, the color that arrived looks nothing like the magenta red of the product pictures. I received a bubblegum pink colored halter, so keep that in mind when ordering.It’s labeled as a Full sized halter. I have an oversized mustang I refer to as a “Draftstang”, and there was plenty of adjustment to let this out further than she would need so it’s probably best suited for stocky heads, warmbloods, even draft crosses. It will hang on most Arabs, thoroughbreds, and smaller horses.It is a thinner nylon, which is nice for a utility turnout halter. There are adjustable buckles on the poll and nose, and a convenient clip under the throatlatch. The hardware is decent for this price point.No real complaints, just a little surprised at the light soft pink color, and how big it is. The Draftstang likes it.

Summary:I chose this product to replace my horse's old worn out halter. I like the pink color, which will look great on my red roan! The cheek snap isn't the greatest, but it is functional. When it arrived, I noticed the size on the halter tag states "full". Unfortunately, it will be too small for my mare, but that is an easy fix with a hot woodburning tool to make extra holes and burn/seal off the ends that are too long. For the price, this halter is a great value, and I would choose it again!!Pros:- Snaps at the cheek, instead of buckle- AdjustableCons:- Cheap snap on the cheek strap- Slight odor when it arrived- Too large, size not clearly stated on product pageStar Removal Reasons:One star was removed because the sizing was not clear on the product page when I ordered

This is a full-size halter, which was almost too big for a tall Percheron with a sizeable head. I followed the recommendations from another reviewer and used a soldering iron to make additional holes to make it even more adjustable. Once I had more flexibility to adjust it properly, the halter works great, it's sturdy and well-made. The color is lighter than the product picture shows (other reviewers have posted pictures), but it's beautiful and makes it easy to find it from a distance. Overall, great option at this price point.

The color on the product page is a bit deceptive. It isn’t a rich pink, but rather a bright light pink, so I was disappointed by that. It has all the same configuration of a typical halter. It’s also quite wide. The fit is adjustable to fit different horse’s head size. It comes on and off like regular halters. The quality is the same as you would find for similar nylon. If you’re going with nylon as opposed to leather halters, this one works great.

Arrived quickly and is perfect for my sisters' horses. I ordered the cobalt blue and pink and she was thrilled to receive them.
