3rd pair of rainbow sandals and maybe they changed something because when these got wet they left dark stains on my feet that took several showers and scrubbing to get off. Past the return window so i may try soaking them in water to try and get all the cheap dye released from the leather.

Bought this brand around 10 years ago in Hollywood and they lasted me through several multi year trips. Decided to splurge and get a new pair, haven't travelled due to pandemic and just wore these around the house and the strap is already fraying after around a year. Really dissatisfied.

MOST COMFORTABLE AND DURABLE FLIPS AROUND. I GOT MARRIED IN A PAIR 6 YEARS AGO AND STILL WEAR THAT PAIR.DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY!

Prior to buying there we read a lot of the review which stated they run on the small side and may need breaking in.I bought these Rainbow Sandals originally for my husband. They were tight upon arrival. To the point we gave them to our son, who is 15. Even with Him they took a bit of breaking in. I also have a pair which also took breaking it.-What we loved: The arch support!Both my son and I have problems with plantar fasciitis. When we wear these versus our other sandals we notice a big difference.-What we didn't love: The breaking in process :(The breaking in processes did take a while and we had to be intentional with it. It took me about a week wearing them around the house before they weren't too tight between the great toe and 2nd tow. It took my son a few weeks to break his in, because he was not as intentional with it. For that reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5.But it was sooo worth it! We live in sandals most of the year that we will put up with breaking them in for how awesome they make our feet feel!

For many years I used three types of shoes Keen hikers, moccasins and Rainbow double layer leathers sandals. I am the guy you will see hiking in Rainbows on all but the gnarliest types of terrain and longboarding in them as well. I have tried other types of sandals like Chaco’s, but just they just don’t fit my arch right. Once a pair of Rainbows is broken in (a week or two of light use) they are incredibly comfortable and offer all the agility and traction I need. The double layer conforms to my foot so well that I use friction to keep my foot and hardly ever have to rely on the strap. I trust my endeavors to these phenomenal pieces of footwear.However, out of 6+ pairs I have had in the last 10 years I have had a couple where one strap pulled out completely clean (conveniently while traversing a field of razor sharp limestone in Honduras). It was early in their life and neither the top or bottom layer was worn through so I sent them in on warranty. Rainbow informed me that the sandals were ‘water damaged’ and refused to replace them. They did do a sloppy repair that did not last and charged me $7 to get them back in the mail. Great shoes but a deceptive guarantee. What sandals are not made to get wet???Follow my adventure @Frazier_Far_Out
