I have a few other Ralbay products, all used in bathroom projects, and they have all performed excellently. This particular light is no exception. As my title states, I have received numerous compliments on the design aesthetic of this light. Its modern and sleek appearance has added a touch of elegance to our bathroom.The light not only looks great but also functions exceptionally well. The quality of the materials and construction is impressive, ensuring durability and longevity. It provides bright and even illumination, which has made a significant difference in our bathroom's overall ambiance.Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with this light and all of my Ralbay products. They have consistently exceeded my expectations, providing both aesthetic appeal and reliable performance.Value: At $70 at the time of review for the 40" black version, this is a good deal.

Light flickers for a few minutes after it is turned on. Amazon reps were unable to advise if the bulb can be replaced rather than having to uninstall the light. I noticed that the 5 start reviews are based on free product. Update, the light is taking longer to stop flickering after it is turned on.

Easy to install and its the look I wanted. It's bright but not blinding. And affordable. I would buy again.

good product looks great at 59" however there's no variable setting on light brightness and 5500W is the HIGHEST brightness in most light bar vanity lights so be sure that bright white/blue lighting is what you want.

I have a step-in pantry with an old light fixture above the opening (i.e. behind the line of view). The pantry needed more light, so I installed this 40-inch light bar in its place. The difference is amazing.PROs:(+) The fixture is attractive and break resistant in plastic (as opposed to breakable glass).(+) It throws a lot of light and makes every nook in the pantry visible and useable.(+) The price is relatively low for a quality fixture.CONs:(-) There is no dimmer function; it is either on or off.(-) It does not come with a mounting bracket. My old bracket was unusable, so I had to buy one on Amazon.Overall, this is a nice product at a good price. The plastic tube might look too cheap or out of place in a high-end bathroom but works great for dozens of applications. My pantry is much better since the installation. I definitely recommend this product.
