This is much better as a toy than static posed figurine that would work well for games like Warhammer. It’s quite big and stocky, and the wings are posed close together. With the wings like that it would be hard to seat a miniature rider. It maybe okay for a bigger scale game like Conquest: Last Argument of Kings, or for DnD etc where it wouldn’t have to fit on a particular sized base. It’s a nice sculpt with good details a bright paint. For a kids toy or to sit on a shelf as decor, it’s a fine price.

I see so few griffin figures/toys, and this is definitely the coolest one I've ever seen. Great paint job and detail, and the pose makes him look like he's in action. I love it!

Despite what the description says, this is not a Hieracosphinx, but a Gryphon. Regardless, this is a beautifully detailed figure. I can't wait to see my D&D group's faces when I drop this on the table! It's not really scaled for D&D, but if it was, I'd call it Huge.It is somewhat flexible and should last a good long time of generating fantasy dreams and tales!

The recipient of the gift (an 8-year-old named "Griffin") loved it--so it suits its purpose admirably!

Awesome figure/statue. If you're using it for D&D or Tabletop it is a Huge size in terms of scale. The paint application is pretty good and it DIDN'T require any hairdryer'ing for oddly bent limbs (wings usually).Pic for D&D scaling... Large spider, medium fairy, tiny fairy, yellow d20
