I ended up buying a second one because I was so impressed with this product. Our neighbors leave their cats out in the cold and they seek shelter in our garage and under our deck, but we wanted to give them extra warmth and protection. They immediately took to this cat house and pretty much stay in there all day. The two cats can fit together, but we got a second one. I wish there were maybe a range of temperatures to select instead of just very low warmth but I'm sure it's enough to keep the cats safe. We were really impressed with the design and quality. I think if it was outside with no cover at all rain could blow inside, so I'd recommend putting them somewhere with some protection. The color is nice too, I can replace the green bins I made for them. Compared to other products at other prices I think this is a pretty good value. I'll update my review if they start to fall apart or something.

I purchased this house for a stray cat that comes to my house and asks for a food. Wanted to make him comfortable during cold winter nights. And it worked perfectly. He explored it right away and stayed warm the whole winter. The pad is soft and fluffy, gets warm to the perfect temperature, not too hot. It is very stable, protects also from rain. Very glad with the purchase!

With the weather getting colder and power bills going through the roof we have kept our house colder than normal. It’s easy for us to get a sweater or warm by the fire but the new kittens were not as lucky. They were foster kittens and were very frail but this house gave them a great place to keep really warm. The heating pad is warm and soft and the cable is shielded to discourage biting and chewing. Now our kittens are enjoying the day out in the house and keeping warm all night. The home is well built and it offers a really sturdy platform up off the ground. I’m not sure but it appears to be waterproof but that wasn’t why I got it. Works really well for my needs so I can recommend it.

This cat house is very easy to deploy. Connect the plastic pieces for the base and zipper up the actual structure together. Takes about 5 minutes and it is great for any outdoor cat.Only one adult cat can comfortably fit in here.The actual heating pad fits inside the structure and is padded with suede. It auto regulates the temperature to not overwhelm the cat and the foil-like sheeting inside keeps the heat generated inside the structure.The entrance is closed off using a vinyl clear door with a cutout in the middle for the cat to slide in. Heat does slip out of the door but there's more than enough heat to keep a cat cozy.The extension cord is also plated in case your cat is a cable chewer. Remember to disconnect the pad when not in use despite the auto regulating system.Have not tested against rain as it is under a sheltered structure but it handles splashes of rain.

We have a stray cat that we’ve been trying to make into a house cat, and in the meantime, we wanted to give him somewhere warm to stay at night now that it’s getting cold.The instructions were really easy to follow, and it didn’t take long to set up. The house is sturdy and has held up just fine, even though it hasn’t been super windy yet. When the weather does change we’ll add the included stakes to the legs to secure it. I really like that we can unzip the roof for easy access, and easily secure it back down. We had to open it to throw some treats in the back (once he smelled treats, he blocked the entrance so we didn’t have room to throw them) so he would get comfortable going inside. The heating pad warms up quickly without getting too hot, and the house itself is insulated pretty well so depending on the temperature we can shut it off for a few hours and it stays nicely warm for him. Just been some light rain so far, but the inside remained dry.
