I was about to toss my corkscrew when I decided to try replacing these. Now it's like new again and working flawlessly.

Over time these cork screws get worn out. These replacements are original rabbit cork screws and does the job. Cheers.

Easy peasy. The only hard part was getting the old corkscrew out after it suffered metal fatigue and compressed the coils. This went right in and works perfectly.However, about a month later an unsolicited, never ordered, $17.98 wine accessory kit showed up in my mail. I am suspicious that my order of this item triggered the shipment of the accessory kit so that someone could post a review, listing me as a "confirmed purchaser" of the accessory kit.

Gave new life to a well used Screwpull. The corkscrew is a little shorter than the original but it’s sharp and works like a charm.

Great replacement part for the original ScrewPull (later bought out by le creuset.) I wasn't entirely sure this replacement screw would fit my oldie but goodie wine opener. I've lost greater amounts than the $6 cost of these replacement screws so to me it was worth a try. This replacement is a tad shorter than the original but it works just as well. Fits perfectly, operates smoothly and being shorter, there's no worry about piercing through the bottom of the cork. The replacement screw that le creuset sells for $40 is about 4.5 inches long while this HQY measures 3.75 inches. After installation approximately 2.25 inches protrude from the bottom of the opener. Plenty of screw to pull a cork.
