Good value and plenty of memory for my Browning trail cameras

They are a tiny bit thinner than what I have so be careful pushing them too far in. Other than that, excellent.

They work great. I use them in my trail cameras for scouting. Will buy more in the future.

DESCRIPTION> These are standard-size SD cards (about 1" x 1 1/4"), in contrast to micro-SD cards which are about 1/2" x 5/8". HD means "high capacity". ANY and ALL SD cards with a capacity between 4 and 32g are "SDHC" cards. If you have a VERY old camera (etc.) it may only recognize cards up to 2g. If your camera (etc.) is a few years old, it may only recognize up to 32g (SDHC) cards, and may not recognize SDXC cards (64g to 2t).> "Class 10" refers to the writing speed of the card. Any SDHC card is more than fast enough for still photos. These days most SDHC cards are "Class 4" or "Class 10". Cheaper "Class 4" cards are good enough for full HD video. But if you plan to shoot a lot of video, you may have fewer problems with these "Class 10" cards. It is sorta like putting "premium" gasoline in your car -- your car probably doesn't need it -- and you are probably wasting your money -- but it doesn't hurt. For 50 cents more per card, I'll go with "premium".> This is not a UHS-bus card. If your camera or device has an UHS bus, you need a card specified as UHS-I (or UHS-2 etc). If your camera or device does not have a UHS-bus then it will not benefit from using a UHS-bus card.FOR USE IN CAMERAS (fine for other uses, but my main use is in cameras)> At this price ($8 each) it makes sense to use them once, copy the photos to your harddrive, and keep the (retired) SD cards as backups. If you erase and reuse cards over and over, the cards will eventually fail, and then you loose everything on them -- so one-time use is a good policy. It is almost like going back to the days of film.> Yes there are 32g SCHC cards and larger SCXC cards (although your camera {etc} may not recognize SCXC cards). But, if a 128g card (that you've had in your camera for 5 years fails -- or you loose your camera ), and you haven't bothered to backup, you loose everything. A 16g card holds about 500--5000 photos (depending on the size and the compression), which is more than enough for most vacations. It is better to simply retire a 16g card when it is full, and start with a new 16g card.> Smaller cards may be even more practical if you don't take many photos -- but at the moment 8g cards cost almost as much as 16g cards. You can always "retire" a card even if it is only half-full. One card per year, or one card per vacation (whether they are full or not) makes a lot of sense.STORAGE CASES> If you are going to keep an virgin 16g card in your camera case (in case you run out of space with the card in your camera), it is a good thing to have a storage case. The last batch of SanDisk SD cards I purchased came in great little ultracompact reusable cases -- perfect!! I assumed that these did also. But no.> These don't come with storage cases. But they do come in sorta "one-time cases" -- if you open the packaging carefully. Cut the package along the dotted line on the backside, you can open the paper packaging to reveal the SD card in a 2 1/4" X 2 1/4" plastic "case" -- which is convenient for storing that extra SD card in your camera case. If you peel back the plastic (where it says "peel", you can even use it to temporarily store your "full" SD card that you just took out of your camera.> Click on “Stoney” just below the product title to see my other reviews. I had a bunch of old 512MB - 2 GB laying around the house that I use for odd devices and older cameras. I trashed them all and replaced them with this 4 pack of 16GB cards. They work like you expect and improved the write speed on my older point and shoot cameras. Cheap enough to keep a stash kicking around!
