I love this little kettle! It’s about the size of a regular tumbler. Got it for my van and I’ve been able to run it a couple of times on my portable power station (a Bluetti). Couldn’t be easier to use - just fill with water to the max line inside, turn on, and let it do its thing. It does take longer to heat up than a regular electric kettle but that is to be expected. The water is HOT - I made one of those dehydrated camp meals for dinner the other day and had to wait a good chunk of time for it to cool down enough for me to eat. One thing to keep in mind is the cord length - it is a thick, short cord, so you’ll want to be pretty close to an outlet. Also, there is a steam vent on the top of the lid - I was afraid that I’d burn my hand trying to open the lid, but so far I’ve been completely fine. This is worth checking out if you’re an avid camper (or glamper) or a fan of hot drinks on-the-go.

It's small and fits in my bag. I use a school almost everyday for tea. You can hear when it's starts boiling the water but not to loud to disturb the class.

I was provided with this product for a Vine review in exchange for my honest, unbiased opinion. The item that I’m reviewing today is a personal electric kettle which usually sells for about $40.00 but is currently on sale for about $25.00 (as of March 2025).I usually drink cold brew coffee in the mornings, but I’m still kind of a traditionalist and like it served piping hot. This is easy to do at home— I just add boiling water to a bit of refrigerated double- or triple-strength coffee concentrate, and BAM! hot coffee. Easy peasy. At work, though, it’s a little trickier to make the kind of coffee that I really like, because the hot water tap on our coffee urn doesn’t produce water which is at that same boiling temp. This personal travel kettle is a nice solution. All I have to do at work is add water to this kettle, plug it in and let the water come to a boil, and pour the boiling water into my refrigerated concentrate. This kettle is small enough to go back in a desk drawer when I’m done with it. It works quickly, quietly, and seems to be well-made. The outside of the kettle got warm but not too hot to handle. It would have been nicer to have a longer electrical cord, because there’s no way that this device will reach the plug under or behind my desk, but fortunately I have an extension cord.At its current sale price, this item is a steal. At full price, this would make a nice gift, and I’d love to receive something like this as a present, but I’d probably be too money-conscious to buy something like this for myself. Still, I would absolutely recommend this brand to anyone looking for boiling water on the go.

I love this little kettle. It’s so easy to use when you’re just making a drink for one person. It’s portable, but it hasn’t been outside of my kitchen. It’s a nice size for one cup of tea or coffee. If you drink out of like a 20 ounce cup it’s not going to hold enough water for you.One of the things I really like is that you can choose different temperatures so if you don’t need your water boiling, just really hot, you can do that. There are a few things you have to be aware of when using this:First, you only put in water. It looks like a travel mug, but it’s not.Second, unplug it when the water is done, then carefully take the lid off. The first time I tried to take the lid off, when it was empty, I struggled. I was afraid I would never be able to do it with hot water inside. It comes off fairly easily after you’ve used it a few times. But you’re dealing with really hot water, so be careful.Third, you can’t get the whole thing wet. (Remember, even though it looks like a travel mug, it’s not.) There is a flap to cover where the plug goes into the kettle, but you still don’t want to submerge it. I usually just rinse the inside with some water when I’m done and let it dry.Fourth, it only works with house current. Yes, you can travel with it. It would be easy to take it on the road and use it in a hotel. But it only works with a regular outlet.I had been thinking about getting one of those big electric kettles. But since I only make one drink at a time, this works perfectly for me.Would I get this again? Absolutely.
