I really love this steam mop. I tried one that was more expensive than this that had a roller and it didn't do nearly as good of a job. You have to be patient with stains, let the steam sit on the stain a bit then continue to mop back and forth on it. It's much better than trying to get on your hands and knees and scrub and has a great result. I use this on our wood plank floors. It doesn't leave residue, it's just hot water and since it steams up it dries quickly. The only thing I wish it had was attachments to clean the bathroom and woodwork. I almost gave 4 stars because of that but thought it wouldn't be fair since I should be just rating what I purchased, so 5 stars it is!

I'm using this on 100 year old hardwood floors. We have hardwood throughout and 5 kids. When my old mop died I decided to go for the steam one instead.Pros:-All the dried food, stickers etc are easy to get off. I don't have to scrape it off!-It's easy on my elbow, unlike my previous mop. No scrubbing!-Easy to use, intuitive.-The water reservoir is good for about one full room.Cons:-It is pushing around dirt as it goes, leaving it streaky. The pad doesn't just rinse out, you have to throw it in the washer, so you can't just rinse and go again.-Only 2 pads came with it. I'm using my old mops pads in the meantime.-To get it done right you have to go slow.

Right at the time I needed a steam mop for the first time in my life, I saw this item. What was funny is apparently it was SO new that there were no reviews on it anywhere. I've heard good things about Shark over the years from friends, so I decided to give it a shot. I use a Dyson 5 Gen5 Detect for vacuuming carpet and laminate floors, but I was tired of my Swiffer and all the waste and chemicals it used.This thing was great right out of the box! It simply uses water, just plug it in, and set your steam setting! It steams up real fast and works exactly how it's supposed to. Simple, to the point, and does it well, all with nice design and materials without breaking the bank! The re-usable cloth is nice as well. No waste! I would definitely recommend this. :)

I’m really happy with my purchase. I bought this Shark steam mop about a month ago. I was hesitant because of the price and the fact that there weren’t any reviews for this model on YouTube or here to help me decide. My old Shark steam mop finally stopped working after 6–7 years, and cleaning without it was a hassle, so I decided to replace it. This one works great..it removes dirt and grime easily. I recommend reading the instructions, especially for choosing the right steam level based on how dirty your floors are or what type of floor you have. For me, Level 1 works well on my vinyl floors for everyday cleaning. The steam blaster is also really useful for tough stains or anything stuck on the floor. Overall, it’s been a great replacement, and I’m hoping it lasts just as long as my last one… Just a little tip: you choose your steam level first, then step on the mop head and lean back the handle to activate it so it can start heating up.

I needed a new steam mop but did not want to spend the money on a high end steamer. Shark is a brand i am familiar with and the reviews were decent .. upon arrival and removing from box it was easy to assemble with very clear directions. I like the long cord this is important to me .heated up within a short time and threw out a lot of steam. So easy to maneuver around.Works well and good value for the money
